You have the option to customize your AEPS-3 assessment. You can create a customized assessment based on specific areas you want to assess, the child’s previous scores, scoring notes on the child’s previous assessments, and items marked as targets for the child (IFSP/IEP goals). Or you can customize your assessment based on the current assessment and choose items that have not yet been scored. This is a great tool for progress monitoring. To start, click CREATE CUSTOMIZED ASSESSMENT from the AEPS-3 Test Summary page.

In the sample above, I am creating a customized assessment based on a previously completed assessment, selecting the fine motor and gross motor areas, and only scores of 1. Once the options have been selected, click CREATE.

You will now see a shortened, customized version of an assessment based on the options you selected. You can print the customized assessment or enter data directly online.

Once the customized assessment has been created it will show in the Customized Assessments section. There are no limits to how many customized assessments you can create.
