If I completed an AEPSi initial assessment for my child one month ago but now have the new AEPS-3, should I re-assess the child with the new AEPS-3?
It is up to you on whether you decide to re-assess the child with the new AEPS-3. For the purposes of accountability, you can use the second edition of AEPS for near entry and then the AEPS-3 for progress monitoring and near exit. If you wish to be able to compare assessments for programmatic purposes, you may want to consider re-assessing with the AEPS-3.
