How do I create an Assessment?

To create an assessment for a child:

  1.  Select Children from the left side bar navigation menu. 
  2.  Click “View” next to the child for which you want to create an assessment.
  3.  Scroll down to the Assessments section. 
  4.  Click “Create New Assessment”.
  5.  The child will be selected by default. If you wish to create assessments for a group of children (up to five children can be in a group), click the checkbox next to the child's name. Then click CHOOSE ASSESSMENT.
  6.  Select the assessment type from the dropdown menu. Options include: AEPS-3 Test, Ready-Set, Assessment Activities (home-based), Assessment Activities (center-based), Ready-Set Assessment Activities (home-based), Ready-Set Assessment Activities (center-based).
  7.  If you select “AEPS-3 Test”, select “Near Entry”, “Near Exit”, or “None” for Include in OSEP Reporting. If you select “Near Entry” or “Near Exit” all areas must be included. If you select “None”, you have the option to deselect the checkbox for one or more areas. Once all selections have been made, click BEGIN ASSESSMENT.
